Natalie Decker and Sponsors Bring Smiles To Daytona Area Children

Natalie Decker Lifestyle, Press Release

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla.- Smiles were bound as Natalie Decker had a busy week leading up to the NextEra Energy 250 at Daytona International Speedway. With the help of Walmart, Far Out Toys, and Adventure Force Brand, Tuesday was especially busy, as she went on a toy giveaway adventure throughout the Daytona area.

Decker started the morning with a trip to Volusia County Schools Champion Elementary, a school in Daytona Beach that specializes in education for individuals with special needs.

“Our kids don’t get to go on any field trips. So, when I reached out, Natalie said she would come. It meant so much to our kids that we brought the field trip to them,” said Katie Wicks, a paraprofessional at Champion Elementary School. And then, she went ahead and brought them a race car set from Far Out Toys Adventure Force NASCAR Crash Racers. That’s all they’ve been playing with all week long since she’s come. So, inturn, they made her a race car and a sign.”

After a stop at the track for a tour that was highly recommended to her, of the Motorsports Hall of Fame at Daytona International Speedway, she made her way to the Beacon Center, domestic violence shelter which provides emergency shelter, advocacy, and support groups as well as other assistance. The gifts from Far Out Toys were dropped off by Decker at the centers toy room, which is a part of the their “Hugs & Love” program which assists all children who enter the emergency shelter with case management, safety assessments and advocacy.

From there, she made her way to the France Tower at Halifax Medical Center. After meeting with nurses from the children’s unit, Decker presented a collection of toys from the Adventure Force Brand and Far Out Toys for the units toy room.

“It was such an amazing experience being able to visit with the kids and families,” said Decker. “I’m so greatful to Far Out Toys, Adventure Force Brand, Walmart and N29 Technologies for partnering with me to do this giveaway. For me, nothing means more than being able to make an impact in a child’s life. The fact that we were able to help so many children, makes it all that more special!”

Decker will get her 2020 NASCAR Truck Series Season underway on Friday, February 14th at Daytona International Speedway in the NextEra Energy 250 with Niece Motorsports in the No. 44 N29 Technologies LLC/Far Out Toys Chevy. Green flag is set for 7:30 p.m. ET on FS1.
