Natalie Decker & Frankie Muniz Driving for Mental Health Awareness with Nico’s Hope for Life Foundation

Nico’s Hope for Life Foundation Partners with NASCAR Driver
Natalie Decker, Team Reaume
Partnership kicks off during Mental Health Awareness Month to bring awareness and visibility with Decker & Muniz at Dover in NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series races

May 13, 2026 Nico’s Hope for Life Foundation announces today its partnership with top female NASCAR driver Natalie Decker and Team Reaume for it’s second NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at Dover Motor Speedway on May 15, 2026 at 5:00pm EST. In addition, the wrapped race car will be on display in front of sponsor Nico’s Bagels & Brunch in Gambrills, Maryland from May 14 through May 17, 2026, with an opportunity to meet and greet Decker and her family on Sunday, May 17 10am-noon while raising awareness for Nico’s Hope for Life Foundation.

Nico’s Hope for Life Foundation was born from unimaginable loss and a refusal to stay silent. After losing his son Nico to suicide in 2018, Jerry Osuna turned grief into action, building a mission grounded in four pillars: empowering individuals, caring for communities, inspiring hope, and saving lives. Today, that mission arrives at a critical moment. Suicide is the leading cause of death among young people ages 15–34 in the United States, and the conversation around mental health is finally breaking into mainstream culture, including the world of sports.

“Nico lost his battle with mental health, but this fight is far from over,” said Osuna. “If sharing his story can help even one person choose to stay, it matters. Through bold partnerships like the one we’re building with Natalie and Team Reaume, we’re taking this message into new arenas. We can now reach fans, athletes and communities who need to hear it most.”

Decker will pilot the No. 22 Ford F150 for Team Reaume once again at Dover Motor Speedway. During the Watkins Glen International, Decker was the only mother racing during Mother’s Day Weekend and will be one of three female drivers during the Dover Motor Speedway race on May 15. In addition to Decker, during the Dover race, celebrity and professional stock car racing driver Frankie Muniz will also show his solidarity to the cause and drive the No. 33 Nico’s Hope for Life Foundation Ford F150.

“As a driver, I understand risk, but as a mom, I think about what’s truly at stake,” said Decker. “There are kids out there who feel completely alone, and we can’t ignore that. Partnering with Nico’s Hope for Life Foundation is about using my platform to show them they matter and that their story isn’t over.”

Both race entries, fielded by Team Reaume, will feature full primary branding for Nico’s Hope for Life Foundation, transforming the trucks into moving platforms for awareness, conversation, and hope. The designs for the trucks and firesuit will also feature Nico’s artwork.

“In racing, we talk about life and death every weekend, but we don’t talk enough about what’s happening off the track,” stated Josh Reaume, Owner, Team Reaume. “This partnership is about changing that. If we can strap into a car at 180 miles per hour, we can sure as hell start having real conversations about mental health. Nico’s story deserves to be heard, and if this sport can help save even one life, then this is bigger than racing.”

“This is about turning awareness into action, and making sure no one feels alone in their darkest moment,” Osuna said. “We’re grateful for this partnership and know it’s just the beginning of something even bigger.”
