TOLEDO, Ohio (Oct. 5, 2017) — Add three more entries for the Kansas ARCA 150. A trio of entries have been received at the ARCA home office from Venturini Motorsports for the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards season finale at Kansas Speedway coming Friday, Oct. 20.
Venturini will fill their Kansas cars with three rookies: Eagle River, Wis.’s Natalie Decker in the No. 25 World Championship Snowmobile Derby-YO COOL Frozen Yogurt Toyota, Fort Smith, Ark.’s Cole Rouse in the No. 15 Venturini Motorsports Toyota and Dahlonega, Ga.’s Spencer Davis in the No. 55 Mussleman’s BIG CUP Apple Sauce Toyota.
Decker will be making her seventh ARCA start of the season at Kansas. Decker finished a career-best 7th at the Road America road course. She was also 10th at Pocono, 11th at Toledo (series debut) and 12th most recently at Kentucky.
Rouse made his series debut at Kentucky, finishing 11th, the last car on the lead lap.
Davis has six starts this year, finishing a career-best 3rd at Talladega in his first start. He also finished 7th at Iowa where he qualified a career-best 3rd. Davis also finished 9th at Michigan, 11th at Pocono, 14th at Lucas Oil and 15th last time out at Kentucky.
Venturini Motorsports registered the team’s 44th career win back on Sept. 15 at Chicagoland with Christopher Bell driving.
Kansas ARCA 150 kicks off Triple-Header Weekend
The Kansas 150 also serves as the show-opener for big triple-header weekend of racing to include the NASCAR Xfinity Series Kansas Lottery 300 Saturday and the Monster Energy Cup Series Hollywood Casino 400 Sunday.
The Kansas 150 marks the 17th consecutive ARCA race at Kansas since the series debuted on the 1.5-mile superspeedway in 2001 – Jason Jarrett the inaugural winner. Other ARCA winners at Kansas include Frank Kimmel, Shelby Howard, Ryan Hemphill, Chad Blount, Scott Lagasse, Jr., Scott Speed, Parker Kligerman, Ty Dillon, Alex Bowman, Spencer Gallagher, Mason Mitchell and Chase Briscoe.
Practice for the Kansas 150 is from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Oct. 20, followed by General Tire Pole Qualifying at 2:30 p.m. The 17th Kansas ARCA 150 is scheduled to get the green flag at 7:47 Friday night, with live coverage on FS2.
